Vision Hospitality, the group behind the internationally renowned Irish pub brand McGettigan’s, has agreed to acquire Bla Bla Dubai, marking a significant expansion of its entertainment portfolio in the UAE. The group has now resumed operational control of Bla Bla, one of Dubai’s most iconic and multi-award-winning lifestyle destinations, further strengthening its presence in the city’s high-volume hospitality and entertainment market.
Located at The Beach JBR, Bla Bla Dubai has evolved into an iconic beachfront venue known for its expansive day-to-night concept, integrating a beach club, restaurant, karaoke bar, rooftop bars, and its flagship nightclub, The Tent. Since opening, the venue has welcomed more than 2 million guests and produced large-scale concerts and high-energy nightlife experiences, cementing its place within Dubai’s social landscape.
Dennis McGettigan, Founder and CEO of Vision Hospitality, said:
“Bla Bla Dubai represents one of the most ambitious and dynamic hospitality platforms in the region. The scale, beachfront positioning and proven track record of the venue present significant opportunity. Our priority is to build on the strong foundation already in place, enhance operational excellence and entertainment programming, and continue investing in the experience to ensure Bla Bla by McGettigan’s remain at the forefront of Dubai’s nightlife and leisure market.”
Steve Taylor, Founder of Bla Bla Dubai, said:
“What began as an ambitious concept has grown into one of Dubai’s most iconic lifestyle destinations, welcoming over 2 million guests over the last 5 years. I am incredibly proud of what the team has created. The time feels right to pass the brand into safe hands that share the same vision. Vision Hospitality will continue to invest and grow the brand while preserving the identity and culture that makes Bla Bla so distinctive.”
Bla Bla Dubai will operate as Bla Bla by McGettigan’s, maintaining its established beach club atmosphere, diverse entertainment calendar, and extensive food and beverage offering. Vision Hospitality plans to continue investing in the venue through strategic partnerships, curated programming, and operational enhancements designed to support the next phase of growth.
The agreed acquisition strengthens Vision Hospitality’s expanding footprint in the UAE and internationally as the group continues to grow its portfolio of hospitality brands, including McGettigan’s venues globally, Goose & Gander, 19 Sixty-Four wine bar, and Coffee Box.
Further announcements regarding future programming and initiatives under the new ownership will be shared in the coming weeks.
