Accor’s Pullman New Capital Egypt development marks a strategic expansion, as the company partners with Contact Developments to launch a flagship hotel-and-residences project in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.

The agreement will see the debut of the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand in Cairo, reinforcing Accor’s push into high-growth markets and premium mixed-use developments aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Located along Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and overlooking the Green River, the project is positioned at the heart of the New Administrative Capital, offering connectivity to key government, business, and residential districts.

The development will feature a 150-key five-star hotel alongside 100 branded residences, spread across high-rise towers. The mixed-use concept reflects a broader industry shift toward integrated hospitality and residential offerings, catering to both short-term visitors and long-term residents.

“Egypt is a pivotal growth market for Accor in the Middle East and Africa region, and the new administrative capital represents a new frontier of opportunity,” said Raki Phillips, Regional President for Premium, Midscale & Economy across the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye.

“The signing of Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences marks an important milestone in expanding our premium portfolio and introducing globally recognized brands into high-growth destinations,” he added, highlighting the role of branded residences as a key growth segment.

The hotel will include two dining venues, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a full suite of business and leisure amenities, including meeting facilities, a spa, fitness center, and swimming pool. The Pullman brand’s positioning around collaboration and connectivity is expected to shape the design and guest experience.

For Contact Developments, the project represents a strategic diversification into the hospitality sector.

“Our partnership with Accor marks a strategic entry into the hospitality sector, expanding in integrated lifestyle destinations and supporting Egypt’s rapidly growing tourism sector,” said Ahmed Fikri, CEO of Contact Developments.

The project also aligns with the rising demand for branded residences in Egypt, as buyers increasingly seek properties that combine real estate ownership with hotel-managed services and amenities.

Globally, Pullman continues to expand its footprint, with more than 150 hotels across over 40 countries and a pipeline of more than 60 projects. The New Capital development will further strengthen Accor’s presence in Egypt, where it already operates a significant portfolio.

The move underscores a broader trend across emerging markets, where large-scale urban developments are becoming focal points for hospitality-led investment, combining tourism, business, and residential demand within a single ecosystem.
