IKEA UAE has launched a special Emirati-themed menu across its restaurants, offering customers a taste of local cuisine as part of a limited-time initiative running from April 22 to April 30.
Operated by Al-Futtaim Group, the campaign celebrates the UAE’s cultural heritage through food, bringing together traditional dishes at accessible price points across all IKEA locations in the country .
The menu features a curated selection of Emirati favourites, including Balaleet, lentil soups, Chicken Machboos, Foga Samak and Lamb Ouzi, alongside the popular dessert Legeimat. Prices start from as low as AED 5, making the offering widely accessible to customers.
Available daily from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm, the initiative reflects IKEA’s effort to connect with local communities by blending its global retail identity with regional cultural experiences.
The concept goes beyond food. With the UAE home to more than 200 nationalities, the campaign is positioned as a celebration of inclusivity, using shared dining experiences to bring people together around a common cultural thread.
By introducing locally inspired menus, IKEA continues to expand its in-store experience, turning its restaurants into spaces that reflect not just global standards, but also the traditions and tastes of the communities they serve.
