ADNOC Distribution and Americana Restaurants International have announced a strategic partnership to expand dining and convenience offerings across ADNOC Distribution service stations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
Under the agreement, up to 200 quick-service restaurants from Americana Restaurants’ portfolio of 12 international brands will be introduced across ADNOC Distribution’s network, significantly expanding roadside dining options for customers across the region.
The partnership combines ADNOC Distribution’s extensive retail and mobility network with Americana Restaurants’ operational expertise and globally recognized food brands to create integrated mobility and convenience destinations.
The collaboration is part of ADNOC Distribution’s broader strategy to accelerate growth in non-fuel retail as consumer demand increasingly shifts toward integrated service experiences that combine dining, EV charging, retail, car care, and lifestyle offerings.
Mohamed Alabbar said the partnership reflects changing consumer expectations around convenience and mobility.
“As roadside retail continues to evolve, this partnership enables us to transform fuel and mobility hubs into vibrant destination experiences where customers can conveniently enjoy trusted brands, great food, and elevated hospitality on the go,” Alabbar said.
Bader Saeed Al Lamki described the partnership as another step in the company’s strategy to diversify revenue streams beyond fuel retail.
“By combining our existing network and customer reach with Americana Restaurants’ portfolio of globally recognized brands and operational expertise, we are creating more accessible and integrated retail experiences for millions of customers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt,” Al Lamki said.
The agreement will also support the continued rollout of “The Hub by ADNOC,” ADNOC Distribution’s destination-focused retail concept, which is expected to expand to 30 locations across the UAE by 2030.
The Hub integrates fuel stations, EV charging, car care, dining, and retail services into a single location and is projected to generate approximately $30 million in annual EBITDA by 2030.
ADNOC Distribution said the partnership supports its goal of doubling non-fuel retail transactions by 2030. The company reported that non-fuel retail gross profit increased by more than 14% year-on-year in 2025, while transactions rose by more than 9%.
Meanwhile, Americana Restaurants said the collaboration would strengthen its expansion strategy through access to high-traffic, premium roadside locations across key regional markets.
Americana Restaurants currently operates 2,749 restaurants and reported revenues of $2.5 billion in 2025, up 14.2% year-on-year, with EBITDA reaching $595.6 million.
