The Emirati real estate incubator initiative gathered momentum as the Dubai Land Department partnered with Dubai Silicon Oasis to host a developers’ meeting aimed at accelerating the integration of national talent into the property sector.
The meeting, held as part of the Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator Program, brought together developers and program participants to facilitate direct engagement, knowledge exchange, and access to real market opportunities.
The initiative forms part of the broader national campaign “The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World,” launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with a focus on strengthening entrepreneurship and supporting Emirati participation across key economic sectors.
The session marked a key milestone in the program’s first phase, shifting participants from theoretical training to practical application. By enabling direct interaction with developers, the platform aims to equip Emirati professionals with the tools and exposure needed to establish and scale real estate businesses.
“The Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator Program represents a key milestone in empowering national talent and qualifying them to enter the real estate sector with competence and confidence,” said Badr Buhannad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The program is being implemented in collaboration with strategic partners, including the New Economy Academy and Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai, to form an integrated ecosystem that supports Emirati brokers in building sustainable businesses.
Officials highlighted that the initiative goes beyond training, focusing on real market integration through access to projects, data, and marketing opportunities provided by developers. This approach is intended to enhance readiness and create sustainable income streams for participants.
Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Shehhi, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), said the program represents a structural shift in how talent is developed within the sector.
“This initiative is driven by a clear vision that recognizes empowering national talent as the true foundation for sustaining a thriving and resilient real estate sector,” he said, adding that the program enables participants to move from learning to building competitive, market-ready companies.
The meeting also featured an interactive panel discussion that offered insights into current market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges in Dubai’s real estate landscape.
Participants were introduced to key program benefits, including mentorship from industry experts, one-on-one guidance sessions, and access to advanced real estate platforms and technologies. Developers also outlined marketing support and incentive structures to help new entrants establish a foothold in the market.
The initiative reflects Dubai’s continued focus on building a diversified and sustainable real estate ecosystem, where local talent plays a central role in driving long-term growth.
