Dubai-based Arabic language technology firm Tarjama has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate the expansion of its AI-powered platform designed to optimize and automate business processes.

The funding round was led by MENA-focused venture capital firm Global Ventures, with participation from Wamda Capital, TA Ventures, Phaze Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, and Endeavor Catalyst.

The newly secured capital will support the development of Tarjama’s Arabic.AI agentic ecosystem, a platform tailored to address complex business operations through artificial intelligence agents designed specifically for Arabic language contexts and regional needs.

As part of its growth strategy, Tarjama plans to double its research and engineering teams and launch a dedicated AI academy to train business and government leaders in advanced AI deployment.

With a footprint in over 30 global markets, Tarjama’s platform processes more than two billion words across more than 50 languages and 22 Arabic dialects. The company has recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20% in revenues over the past three years.
