MERED brought together leading real estate brokers and Emirati artist Faris Al-Hammadi for a unique live art activation at the construction site of ICONIC Residences Design by Pininfarina, blending architecture with creative expression.
Held within the tower itself, the invitation-only event offered participants panoramic views of Dubai landmarks, including Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Island, Ain Dubai, Burj Khalifa, and Burj Al Arab, which served as inspiration for the artistic session.
Faris Al-Hammadi, known for his work in oil portraiture and live drawing, led the session, guiding brokers as they created artwork inspired by the skyline and seascape visible from the development. His artistic approach combines heritage and contemporary techniques, shaped by training in Florence and commissions for major UAE institutions.
“Art and architecture share a common purpose; they invite us to look beyond the surface and discover deeper meaning in what surrounds us,” Al-Hammadi said during the event.

The activation also included an interactive element in which attendees wrote personal messages for future residents, reflecting themes of community, resilience, and opportunity in the UAE.
Beyond the artistic experience, guests were given a guided walkthrough of the development, which will feature 310 premium apartments along with a signature two-level penthouse. The project is positioned within Dubai’s luxury residential segment, offering branded residences with interiors designed by Pininfarina.
Michael Belton, CEO of MERED, said the initiative was designed to create a more immersive connection with the project. “Art changes how people experience a space… we wanted them to feel a part of it,” he noted.
Construction progress on the tower continues steadily, with the structure reaching approximately 130 meters in height and advancing to Level 26. Mechanical and technical works are underway, while preparations for interior fit-out are already in progress.
The event reflects MERED’s broader approach of integrating design, lifestyle, and community into its developments, as it continues to position itself in the premium real estate segment.
