Paris Saint-Germain delivered a dramatic 5-4 victory over Bayern Munich in a pulsating first-leg clash of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the Parc des Princes.

The match lived up to its billing as a European heavyweight encounter, with both sides trading goals in an end-to-end contest that leaves the tie finely poised heading into the second leg.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia led the charge for PSG with a brace, scoring in the 24th and 56th minutes, while Joao Neves added a goal in the 33rd minute. Ousmane Dembele converted from the penalty spot in the 58th minute to extend the hosts’ advantage.

Bayern Munich, however, refused to back down. Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 17th minute, before Michael Olise struck in the 41st to keep the visitors in contention.

The German side mounted a strong comeback in the second half, with Dayot Upamecano scoring in the 65th minute and Luis Diaz adding another just three minutes later, narrowing the deficit and setting up a tense finish.

Despite Bayern’s late push, PSG held on to secure a narrow advantage, though the one-goal margin ensures the semi-final remains wide open ahead of the return leg.
