Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to return to the big screen with a major Eid 2027 release, teaming up with South Indian star Nayanthara in a highly anticipated pan-India project.

The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is currently in development and is already generating strong buzz as one of the biggest cross-industry collaborations in recent years. While the official title is yet to be announced, the project is being referred to as SVC63 during its production phase.

Salman Khan confirmed the film’s long-term release plan, hinting at its scale and ambition while urging fans to be patient. His remark, “thoda durr ki sochna chahiye,” reflects a strategic approach to building anticipation for what is expected to be a large-scale commercial entertainer.

The Eid release window has traditionally been a stronghold for Salman Khan, with several of his biggest blockbusters debuting during the festive period. Locking Eid 2027 signals confidence in the film’s positioning as a marquee theatrical release.

For Nayanthara, the project marks another significant step in her growing pan-India presence following her successful Bollywood debut. Pairing her with Salman Khan also highlights the increasing integration between Bollywood and South Indian cinema, a trend that continues to reshape the Indian film industry.

Director Vamshi Paidipally, known for delivering high-budget commercial successes, is expected to bring a blend of mass appeal and storytelling scale to the project. The collaboration is being backed by a major production house, further reinforcing its positioning as a tentpole release.

Industry observers see the film as part of a broader shift towards pan-India storytelling, where star power, scale, and cross-regional appeal are becoming central to box office success.

With nearly a year and a half until release, the film is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about projects in the Indian entertainment calendar, combining star power, strategic timing, and growing audience appetite for large-scale cinematic experiences.
