In a spectacular celebration of Tom and Jerry’s 85th anniversary and Cheese Day, Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Fatafeat, has officially broken the Guinness World Record™ for the Longest Cheese Board/Platter.
Measuring an impressive 30 meters and featuring around 345 kilograms of cheese, the board was inspired by the iconic cartoon duo’s love for cheese. The record-breaking event took place inside Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world. All food items were donated to Grace Conservation (Hifz Al Naema) to support families in need.
“Tom and Jerry is one of the most beloved franchises in the Middle East… We were excited to bring together Fatafeat chefs and leave our mark in the history by breaking a Guinness World Records™ title,” said Grigory Lavrov, VP at Warner Bros. Discovery.
“We are incredibly proud to have partnered with Fatafeat to achieve this Guinness World Record™ title… a truly momentous occasion to celebrate the enduring appeal of Tom and Jerry,” added Don Strickler, GM at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
The celebration also marks the launch of “Tom and Jerry’s Big Cheese Adventure”, a five-part Fatafeat series premiering June 4, 2025, at 13:30 KSA. The show blends behind-the-scenes moments from the record-breaking event with nostalgic recipes from the classic cartoon.
Adding to the fun, Cartoonito will feature a Tom and Jerry stunt daily at 09:30 from June 2 to 15, while cheese-themed content takes over YouTube and social media.
