Al Khawaneej Walk

Looking forward to exploring the rich heritage of the UAE? Al Khawaneej Walk tells the story of Emirati history and aspirations through art. Masterful Emirati artist Maisoon Al Saleh will present surrealist portraits that capture the UAE’s culture and identity in an exclusive Eid Al Etihad exhibition. Titled “Masarat,” meaning paths, journeys, and direction, this showcase invites visitors to dive into a world in constant motion, symbolizing the UAE as a land of infinite potential and ambition.

Bluewaters Dubai

Discover the peaceful coastal heritage of the UAE and explore the history of pearl diving at Bluewaters Dubai. A Tawash installation will showcase natural pearls and the traditional tools used by Ghawas (pearl divers) to retrieve them without modern breathing equipment. A guide will explain the significance of this ancient practice, which was once vital to the UAE’s trade and economy. On December 2, fishermen will share their stories through songs, accompanied by drums, the habbān (a type of bagpipe), and other traditional instruments. Additionally, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky on December 1 at 8 pm.

Al Seef

Experience Emirati craftsmanship at Al Seef with live pottery and Sadu weaving demonstrations. Local artisans will showcase traditional techniques, and visitors can try both crafts with their guidance. On December 2, enjoy the soothing sounds of an oud player, and on December 3, listen to a Qanun performance. Watch live Harbia dance performances, sample Arabic coffee and dates, and savor an authentic Emirati meal at Al Fanar Seafood Restaurant, which highlights the UAE’s fishing heritage. Explore the Afaneen district in Al Seef’s souq, home to Emirati retail shops like Tamashi. Don’t miss the UAE flag installation shaped like a falcon, and the stunning fireworks over the creek on December 3 at 9 pm.
