Khor Fakkan Municipality in Sharjah has temporarily closed Al Zubarah Beach to swimming as a precautionary measure, following the detection of oil traces in the seawater.

The announcement was made on Monday afternoon, with officials citing public safety as the top priority. The closure is described as a temporary step, aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of beachgoers while authorities assess and address the situation, said reports.
