ETHICORE Political Lobbying, long recognized as one of Africa and EMEA’s Top 10 government affairs firms, has officially launched the ETHICORE Group — unveiling a broader global vision and marking its entry into the GCC and Near East with the opening of its first international office in Dubai, UAE.

Originally founded in 2009 with a single client — still partnered with the firm today — ETHICORE has expanded its reach to 29 African countries. The formation of the ETHICORE Group now consolidates that pan-African legacy into a purpose-built, international entity operating at the intersection of markets, governments, and society.

The Group’s newly restructured offering spans five specialised divisions:

  • ETHICORE East – Market, policy, and regulatory advisory for Africa, GCC, and the Near East
  • ETHICORE Lobbying – Lobbying, advocacy, and government affairs across Africa
  • ETHICORE Counsel – Elite advisory services for high-level decision-makers and institutions
  • ETHICORE Rhetoric – Political communications and narrative strategy
  • ETHICORE Theorem – Intelligence on public policy, regulatory, and geopolitical developments

Speaking about the firm’s global move, Group CEO Abdul Waheed Patel said: “The launch of ETHICORE Group reflects the boldness of our ambition and scale. Dubai provides a strategic hub for the GCC and Near East, complementing our 29-market African footprint. Under a unified identity and global strategy, we are deepening core capabilities, driving innovation, and creating new value for our clients – always with the ethics, precision, and quality that define ETHICORE.”

With this expansion, ETHICORE Group aims to offer both public and private sector clients a strategic edge in managing the ever-growing impact of public policy, regulation, politics, and geopolitical shifts. The firm’s recent participation in Africa Global PR Week in Nairobi underscored its expanding thought leadership, where CEO Patel spoke on “The Intersection of PR and Government: Advocating for Public Policy.”

The new Dubai office positions ETHICORE as a key player for institutions navigating complex government and regulatory environments across Africa and the Middle East, particularly at a time when trust, clarity, and credibility are more crucial than ever.
