Taraf, the real estate arm of Yas Holding, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Masdar City to develop a 1.4 million square meter sustainable residential community within Abu Dhabi’s flagship innovation hub.
The project will deliver more than 1,000 villas and townhouses, ranging from two to six bedrooms, designed around a neighborhood cluster model to encourage community interaction and family-friendly living. Residents will benefit from dedicated clubs, parks, shaded walkways, cycling routes linked to Al Masar Park, and expansive green spaces that integrate modern living with sustainability.
Low Ping, Group CEO of Yas Holding, said the partnership reinforces Taraf’s strategy of shaping “design-led communities that inspire modern living where sustainability and innovation come together,” while aligning with Abu Dhabi’s Falcon Economy Vision for dynamic growth.
Ahmed Baghoum, CEO of Masdar City, noted that the development reflects the city’s ambition to set a global benchmark for low-carbon living, combining Taraf’s design-focused approach with Masdar City’s sustainability framework to create a vibrant community where people can “live, work, learn, and innovate”.
The new project highlights Abu Dhabi’s continued focus on sustainable urban development, positioning Masdar City as both a lifestyle destination and a global model for climate-conscious growth.
