His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi today received His Excellency Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
The discussions focused on advancing cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly economy, investment, development, renewable energy, and technology, as well as cultural and other areas that align with the development priorities of both nations and enhance the prosperity and wellbeing of their peoples.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties in support of shared interests. They highlighted the steady progress in UAE-Hungary relations as the two countries celebrate 35 years of diplomatic ties, a milestone reflecting their shared vision of building a robust partnership that fosters sustainable growth and development.
The two sides also exchanged perspectives on regional and international developments of mutual concern, underscoring their backing for initiatives that promote peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, along with a number of senior officials.
