Hollywood veteran Lin Shaye and British actor Amelia Eve have been confirmed as the lead stars in the next installment of the Insidious franchise. Produced by Blumhouse in collaboration with Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems and Stage 6 Films, Insidious 6 marks the continuation of the popular supernatural-horror series.
Shaye, a well-known name in the genre, has appeared in a string of cult classics, including A Nightmare on Elm Street, Alone in the Dark, the Critters franchise, and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. She is also a recurring figure in the Insidious films, having become a fan favorite for her portrayal of psychic Elise Rainier.
Joining her is Amelia Eve, best recognized for her breakout role as Jamie in Netflix’s acclaimed supernatural series The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020). The casting brings fresh energy to the franchise, which continues to attract global audiences with its blend of psychological tension and paranormal storytelling.
