H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Jeremiah Maenele, Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and the Solomon Islands, exploring ways to enhance cooperation across sectors that support mutual interests and sustainable growth.
They also exchanged views on several key items on the agenda of the 80th General Assembly session.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Solomon Islands and leveraging available opportunities to advance bilateral cooperation in support of both nations’ development goals.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State.
