Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will organise the 27th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 30th September to 2nd October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The exhibition will bring together global companies, experts, decision-makers and investors to present the latest innovations in clean and renewable energy, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, said the exhibition strengthens global cooperation in sustainability and supports the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy and National Hydrogen Strategy 2050. “Clean energy will constitute 36 percent of the UAE’s energy mix by 2030,” he noted.
WETEX 2025 will host principal and strategic sponsors such as Masdar, TAQA, ENOC, Siemens Energy, ACWA Power, Hitachi Energy, Hyundai Electric, SUNTEN, Larsen & Toubro, Etihad Water and Electricity, SEL, Khansaheb Sustainability, along with national pavilions from France, Belgium, Poland, Russia and Canada.
Key showcases will include the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, DEWA’s flagship clean energy initiative, and the pioneering Green Hydrogen project – the first in the Middle East and North Africa to produce hydrogen from solar power.
International companies will unveil cutting-edge solutions in renewable energy, hydrogen, energy storage, water desalination and digital energy technologies. Highlights include wave energy devices from Sigma Energy and innovative solar, wind and storage systems from Ecolibri, Derun Energy and others.
