The Government of Abu Dhabi has marked its 14th participation in GITEX Global 2025 by announcing 15 strategic partnerships and launching an immersive VR experience on the event’s opening day, as it showcased 55 projects demonstrating its transformation into the world’s first fully AI-native government.

The government’s pavilion brought together more than 30 government and academic entities under the theme AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose, with the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE) leading the participation at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, said: “In Abu Dhabi, we are designing every public service around people’s needs. This is central to how we are embracing an AI-native mindset from the ground up. By working together within a unified government ecosystem, we are shaping a digital future where innovation serves a clear purpose: empowering communities and building a government ready for tomorrow.”

For the first time at GITEX, visitors can adopt six different VR personas to explore how AI-native services impact students, business owners, working parents, international tourists and investors, and government employees across Abu Dhabi—providing an interactive glimpse into the emirate’s digital future.
