Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, who turns 60 today, has planned an exclusive fan meet in Mumbai to mark his milestone birthday. After hosting a private celebration at his Alibaug home on the eve of his birthday, the actor is set to greet hundreds of fans at a specially organised event in Bandra later today, adding to the excitement that surrounds his birthday every year.
According to reports, the actor will meet his fans at Balgandharva Rangmandir in Bandra, Mumbai, at around 4:00 PM( IST). The event, organised through his fan clubs, is strictly by invitation, with passes distributed earlier in the day at the Red Chillies Entertainment office. Access to the venue remains restricted to those holding official entry passes, and no open or media access will be permitted.
As anticipation builds across Mumbai, Shah Rukh’s residence, Mannat, has also become a focal point of celebration, with fans gathering outside since morning in hopes of a wave or an appearance from the superstar. Sources suggest that the actor’s team has prepared the iconic balcony area of Mannat for a possible evening greeting, though last year the actor did not appear before fans on his birthday. With heightened security around the premises and a growing crowd of admirers, the evening promises to be one of the city’s most anticipated fan gatherings.
Shah Rukh Khan, whose career spans over three decades, began the celebrations with a close circle of family and friends at his Alibaug property. Among those present were Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Rani Mukerji, Ananya Panday, and Navya Naveli Nanda, according to reports. Guests reportedly traveled to Alibaug by ferry for an intimate evening with the star of Jawan and Pathaan.
In addition to his personal celebrations, Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, founded with his wife, Gauri Khan, in 2002, launched the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival on 31 October to commemorate his birthday. The festival showcases his most celebrated films across select Cinepolis, PVR INOX, and Yash Raj Films theatres nationwide. Red Chillies announced that the screenings are part of a global re-release initiative, extending across the Middle East, North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, highlighting Khan’s enduring global appeal.
As fans converge in Mumbai to celebrate Bollywood’s most enduring superstar, the day marks both a personal milestone and a reflection of the legacy Shah Rukh Khan continues to build—one that transcends cinema and remains deeply rooted in the hearts of millions worldwide.
