Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026 will take place from January 11–15, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators to advance practical solutions for a more sustainable future. Hosted by Masdar, the event is set to be the most ambitious edition yet, building on nearly two decades of global impact.
Theme 2026: “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go”
ADSW 2026 arrives at a pivotal moment when the world must rethink how today’s systems evolve to meet tomorrow’s challenges. Discussions will spotlight AI-enabled energy networks, climate finance innovations, and solutions strengthening food and water security, positioning ADSW as a catalyst for measurable global action.
What Makes ADSW 2026 Different
Building on the success of ADSW 2025, which attracted over 50,000 participants from 170+ countries, the 2026 edition introduces new platforms designed to turn dialogue into outcomes. These include ADSW Dialogues, high-level action-oriented discussions; The Blue Forum, developed with the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation to spotlight water security and the blue economy; and new AI-powered engagement tools to track commitments and connect stakeholders throughout the week.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar, said, “Two decades after the UAE launched a new chapter in renewable energy with the founding of Masdar, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 builds on that legacy by convening leaders, innovators and decision-makers at the forefront of the Nexus of Next. As we mark this milestone year, ADSW will shape a new era of opportunity by aligning systems to drive impact and progress for all. At this pivotal moment, ADSW stands as the global platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action.
