Ethmar International Holding (EIH), one of the UAE’s leading progressive investment groups, has partnered with the FutureLife group to bring the internationally acclaimed Institut Marquès assisted reproductive technology (ART) centre to Abu Dhabi.
The new, state-of-the-art facility, scheduled to open in 2026, is set to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s status as a global hub for healthcare innovation and excellence.
Founded over a century ago, Institut Marquès is a pioneer in assisted reproduction, internationally recognised for its groundbreaking advancements and high success rates in fertility treatments.
Its advanced embryology laboratories, combined with a multidisciplinary team of nearly 200 professionals—including gynaecologists, embryologists, and psychologists—have positioned Institut Marquès among the top-performing IVF providers globally, achieving success rates of up to 86 percent.
With existing clinics in Barcelona, Sabadell, Rome, and Milan, Institut Marquès will now bring its European clinical expertise and cutting-edge technology to Abu Dhabi.
The new centre will integrate with Abu Dhabi’s advanced healthcare ecosystem, regulatory framework, and long-term national healthcare vision, offering patients a comprehensive range of fertility treatments and services.
Infertility affects one in six adults worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), making the launch of Institut Marquès in the UAE capital a significant step in tackling this global health issue. The centre also aligns with EIH’s commitment to advancing Abu Dhabi’s strategic objectives, particularly in medical and health tourism, and enhancing local healthcare capabilities and patient experience.
EIH said, “Access to effective fertility remains a significant global challenge. By bringing Institut Marquès to Abu Dhabi, EIH is underscoring its commitment to supporting the emirate’s ambition to become a regional and global healthcare hub. The strength and legacy of Institut Marquès in Europe demonstrate its scalability, clinical governance and ability to deliver consistently across multiple markets.”
Institut Marquès is part of the FutureLife group, a global leader in reproductive medicine operating over 60 clinics across 16 countries, contributing extensive expertise and clinical excellence to this collaboration.
Abu Dhabi will serve as the gateway for Institut Marquès’ regional expansion, further positioning the UAE capital as a leader in advanced reproductive medicine.
FutureLife group is backed by Hartenberg, an investment firm focused on long-term growth and value creation, and CVC Capital Partners (CVC), a leading global private markets firm. CVC has a strong investment track record in the UAE and remains committed to supporting businesses that drive the country’s development.
