H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, announced that the Fujairah Media Forum will be held on 10th and 11th February, organised by the Fujairah Government Media Office.
The forum’s Higher Organising Committee held a press conference attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, along with other officials, media professionals, and forum organisers. The event took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City.
At the start of the conference, Al Dhanhani highlighted the qualitative advancements across all aspects of the media ecosystem in the emirate, guided by the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and supported by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
He noted that the forum has grown in importance as a unifying platform for elite Arab media professionals to discuss current challenges, with issues related to new media emerging as especially pressing.
Al Dhanhani added that rapid technological developments have expanded information circulation, at a time when truth can take many forms, making it easier for misinformation or falsification through modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
The Fujairah Media Forum serves as a premier platform, bringing together select Arab media professionals to address key issues and contemporary challenges in the media sector. The forum focuses on anticipating the future of media amid digital transformation and modern technologies, while encouraging expertise exchange through panel discussions and specialised workshops.
