Aldar announced on Wednesday that it has awarded AED66 billion worth of development contracts in 2025, spanning residential, commercial, infrastructure, and logistics projects across the UAE.

These contract awards highlight Aldar’s role as a national real estate leader contributing to the UAE’s long-term economic, industrial, and social development goals.

Aligned with the UAE’s National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme, nearly 45 percent of the total contract value around AED30 billion will be reinvested into the local economy. This supports economic diversification, industrial growth, and job creation across the country.

Aldar continues to integrate ICV principles into its procurement strategy by prioritising UAE-based contractors and suppliers, while strengthening domestic capabilities throughout the construction value chain.

The newly awarded contracts cover large-scale residential communities, major infrastructure projects, and Grade A commercial and logistics assets in key growth areas nationwide. Together, these developments will deliver thousands of new homes, modern commercial and logistics facilities, and essential infrastructure to meet evolving market needs and support sustainable urban growth.

“The value of contracts awarded by Aldar in 2025 underscores the continued pace of development across the UAE and our role in delivering assets that contribute to long-term economic growth and social prosperity,” Adel Albreiki, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Projects, said.

He added, “With AED66 billion awarded, almost half of which will flow back into the local economy, these projects will support thousands of jobs, strengthen local supply chains, and accelerate the delivery of critical residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. By working closely with leading UAE-based contractors, we are building local capacity while maintaining the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and delivery.”

In Abu Dhabi, contracts were awarded for a variety of Aldar and government-led projects. On Saadiyat Island, Fibrex was appointed for Mamsha Gardens and Nobu Residences, while Dutco Construction Company secured the main construction package for The Arthouse.

On Fahid Island, Shapoorji Pallonji Mid East was awarded the main construction contract for Fahid Beach Residences. Several companies including China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) L.L.C, Western Bainoona Group, Nael & Bin Harmal Hydroexpert (NBHH), Yas Projects LLC, Said Bin Darwish Co. L.L.C, and Noor Al Sahara General Contracting were awarded contracts across multiple national housing and infrastructure projects in 2025.

In Dubai, Aldar continued progress on major residential and logistics developments. Ginco General Contracting was appointed for villa and townhouse construction at Athlon, while Nurol LLC received the main works package for Verdes by Haven. Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi & Sons for General Trading and Contracting W.L.L. was awarded the villas package at The Wilds, and Al Nasr Contracting Company L.L.C. was selected for infrastructure works.

Within the industrial and logistics sector, Amana Contracting was awarded the development of Aldar Logistics Centres at National Industries Park.

In Ras Al Khaimah, Shapoorji Pallonji secured contracts for the Al Marjan Beachfront development, reinforcing Aldar’s expanding footprint in the northern emirate.

Sustainability and supply chain resilience remain central to Aldar’s procurement and delivery strategy, with all contractors required to hold valid ICV certification and meet Aldar’s sustainability performance standards.

Since the introduction of the ICV programme in 2020, Aldar has reinvested AED67 billion into the national economy, increasing annual ICV contributions from AED0.25 billion in its first year to AED30 billion in 2025.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), Aldar also operates the region’s first Sustainability Incentive Programme for suppliers, linking sustainability performance to financial and non-financial incentives in support of the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 initiative.
