Indian Businesses Lead New Foreign Company Registrations At Dubai Chamber Of Commerce In 2025

A recent study by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, has shown that Indian-owned businesses once again led the list of new foreign companies joining the chamber in 2025.

During the year, 18,486 new Indian companies registered as members, reflecting an 11 percent year-on-year increase. These figures highlight Dubai’s continued attractiveness and strategic importance as a key destination for Indian investors and entrepreneurs.

Pakistan ranked second, with 9,138 new companies registering in 2025, marking a 12 percent increase compared to the previous year. Egypt secured third place, with 5,043 new companies joining the chamber.

The United Kingdom came fourth with 2,733 new member companies, achieving a 5 percent year-on-year rise. Bangladesh followed closely, with 2,721 companies joining, representing a notable 15 percent annual growth.

Syria ranked sixth, contributing 1,907 new companies in 2025. China placed seventh with 1,583 new companies, recording 7 percent year-on-year growth. Jordan ranked eighth with 1,325 new businesses, while Türkiye secured ninth place with 1,308 new companies. The United States completed the top ten list with 1,054 new member companies.

Overall, 71,830 new companies joined the chamber in 2025, increasing total active membership to 292,486 by year-end, compared to 258,318 in 2024, representing annual growth of 13.2 percent.

In terms of sector distribution among new members, the Real Estate, Renting, and Business Services sector led, accounting for 37.6 percent of new registrations. The Wholesale and Retail Trade sector followed with 34.5 percent.

The Construction sector ranked third, representing 17.2 percent of new member activity. The Social and Personal Services sector placed fourth at 7.9 percent, while the Transport, Storage, and Communications sector came fifth, accounting for 7.2 percent of new memberships.
