The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish is providing specialised medical care to 13-year-old Palestinian girl Sama Mohammed Ibrahim Al Ghareez, who was transferred from the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, highlighting the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian and medical support for Palestinian patients and the injured.
The medical team reported that Sama has been diagnosed with atypical haemolytic uraemic syndrome, a rare condition requiring careful monitoring and specialised treatment. Her care plan includes a therapeutic injection every two months, along with regular medical assessments and follow-up according to approved protocols.
The UAE Floating Hospital confirmed its full readiness to receive patients from the Gaza Strip and deliver treatment services at the highest medical standards, demonstrating the UAE’s continued humanitarian commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating suffering under difficult humanitarian conditions.
Sama’s case reflects the plight of many children in the Gaza Strip in need of urgent medical care and highlights the critical role of humanitarian and medical aid through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in saving lives and assisting the most vulnerable.
