The Kingdom of Bahrain has announced that its air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 74 missiles and 92 Iranian drones since Saturday.

In a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force confirmed that all defence systems remain fully operational and on constant alert to respond to any potential threats. It condemned the deployment of ballistic missiles and drones targeting civilian facilities and private property, describing such actions as a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations, particularly the principles of distinction and proportionality. The statement emphasized that these indiscriminate hostile attacks pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.

The General Command also called on the public to stay indoors and avoid leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary, while exercising the highest degree of caution to safeguard their safety.
