The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council has strongly denounced the Iranian attacks targeting the sovereignty of several Arab nations, describing them as a clear violation of international law and the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
In a statement released from its headquarters in Tunis, the Secretariat said it was closely monitoring with deep concern and condemnation reports of Iranian aggression that violated the sovereignty and airspace of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Secretariat reaffirmed its firm rejection of these unjustifiable actions, noting that such acts threaten regional security and stability and undermine ongoing efforts aimed at de-escalation and peace. It also expressed its full support and solidarity with the Arab states in any measures they undertake to protect their security and sovereignty.
The statement further praised the courageous and professional response of defence and security forces in the targeted Arab countries, commending their vigilance in safeguarding critical infrastructure and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents, as well as their high level of efficiency and professionalism in confronting the attacks.
