The Gulf Cooperation Council, through Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi, has strongly condemned what it described as continued Iranian attacks targeting member states.
In the latest incident, a missile strike in the Al Bahia area of Abu Dhabi killed one person after hitting a civilian vehicle, according to officials in the United Arab Emirates.
Albudaiwi said the ongoing attacks reflect a hostile stance toward GCC nations and represent a clear violation of international law and the principles of good neighbourliness. He also reiterated the council’s full solidarity with the UAE, backing all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
