Saudi Electricity Co. has announced the introduction of the new identity and the official change to Saudi Energy. The Saudi Press Agency reported that this step also emphasizes its position in the energy ecosystem of the country and its congruence with structural changes that have occurred in the energy industry of the Kingdom, increasing its contribution to the security of energy supplies and grid reliability, in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Saudi Energy CEO Khaled bin Salem Al-Ghamdi said, “This transformation is a continuation of the financial, regulatory, and structural reforms that the electricity sector has been witnessing since 2020, aiming to achieve the desired goals for the sector and elevate the quality of services provided to consumers.”

He confirmed that the adoption of the new identity reflects a shift in role and responsibility, rather than the nature of the activity, and is a strategic move towards creating a more modern corporate image that expresses a sense of trust, sustainability and readiness to the future, and indicates an acknowledgement of Saudi Energy in its national role in contributing to the growth and prosperity throughout the Kingdom.
Al-Ghamdi also added, “Today, we build upon a rich legacy filled with achievements and developments in the electricity sector, and we embark with an identity that reflects a more integrated coming phase.”
He said, “In this phase, we are ready to continue contributing, efficiently and effectively, to supporting the national energy ecosystem and enhancing service reliability, in complete alignment with the strategic directions of the Ministry of Energy and the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
