According to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah al-Khorayef, business people who are interested in investing in the industries in Saudi Arabia are now in a position to conduct all procedures electronically.
Addressing the recently held 4th Digital Government Forum in Riyadh, Alkhorayef noted that “smooth and comprehensive investment experience” is enabled by platforms like the Senaei.
He added that the platform has made the process of dealing with industrial services easy and offers its services online without having to physically travel to the ministries’ branches all over the Kingdom.
The Saudi Press Agency reported the remarks of the minister on Sunday. More than 2,000 participants, consisting of decision-makers, experts, and more than 100 technology and digital transformation companies, attended the forum, held on November 5-6 at the JW Marriott Hotel.
Al-khorayef has claimed that investment in new technologies, innovation, and artificial intelligence is the core of the rapid growth of industries and competitiveness.

He pointed to the Future Factories program, which seeks to convert 4,000 factories to automated facilities by partnering with the private sector and international cooperation.
He also included that the mining industry is experiencing a huge digital breakthrough, and cited that the Mansourah and Massarah mines as the first completely digital mines in the Middle East.
Two gold mines, which are in Al-Khurmah governorate of Makkah province and controlled by Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden), will provide ore to a facility that has a capacity of four million tons a year.
Al-khorayef also announced the introduction of a digital services platform for exporters by the Saudi Export Development Authority.
This platform will bring all the services of government exports under one roof, which is a single digital umbrella that makes the journey of the exporter easier and enhances the development of the national exports.
Al-khorayef concluded that the digital transformation of the ministry is a reflection of the dedication to creating a diversified and sustainable industrial economy in line with Vision 2030.
