Huawei has introduced its wearable app ecosystem in Saudi Arabia by launching the Sahm Capital smartwatch trading app, which further reinforces its strategy of providing locally-relevant digital services and consolidating its all-scenario ecosystem in the Kingdom.
The new Sahm Capital app will allow users to access real-time market updates, get notifications instantly, and track portfolio performance right on Huawei wearable devices.
The app provides an investor with a convenient, round-the-clock connection to financial markets and an opportunity to make informed decisions by bringing trading insights to their smartwatches.
This launch is indicative of the overall strategy that Huawei aims to adopt to make its wearable products increasingly functional and to facilitate the creation of smart, localized experiences that reflect changing consumer lifestyles.
The collaboration with Sahm Capital is also an addition to the digital ecosystem provided by Huawei in Saudi Arabia, as the adoption of wearables and cross-platform services continues to rise throughout the GCC.
Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa Eco Development and Operation at Huawei, William Hu, said that “The launch of the Sahm Capital smartwatch app marks another milestone in our commitment to offering innovative and locally tailored services that enhance the Huawei ecosystem. By expanding the financial capabilities available on our wearables, we continue to empower consumers with smarter, more connected experiences that support their evolving digital lifestyles. We remain dedicated to partnering with leading organisations to advance the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey.”
Chairman of Sahm Capital, Steven Chou, stated that “Our collaboration with Huawei brings a new level of convenience to investors in Saudi Arabia. Extending Sahm to Huawei smartwatches aligns with our commitment to deliver intuitive and empowering tools that help users make timely, informed decisions. Integrating with one of the region’s leading technology ecosystems further strengthens our role in advancing the Kingdom’s fintech landscape in line with Vision 2030.”
The Sahm Capital smartwatch application is available in a variety of features that suit Huawei wearable interfaces, such as real-time market movement updates, instant notifications and warnings, and easy access to the performance of their portfolio in an easy-to-use interface.
The launch is a subset of the overall work by Huawei to engage industry partners and increase the variety of smart and connected services provided by the company in its ecosystem.
With wearables taking on an increasing role in digital and financial transactions, Huawei stated that it has remained committed to collaborating with local and regional business partners to provide innovative experiences that resonate with the demands of Saudi Arabia-based users.
