AmSpec Group, a global provider of inspection, testing, and certification services, has announced the launch of a new Agri & Food laboratory in Dubai, underscoring its long-term commitment to supporting the UAE’s fast-growing agricultural and food sectors amid rising regulatory, trade, and food safety demands.
Located in Dubai Science Park, the region’s leading science-focused ecosystem and part of TECOM Group PJSC, the laboratory will expand access to high-precision analytical services for agricultural commodities, animal feed, and food and beverage products. The facility highlights AmSpec’s role in strengthening food safety, quality assurance, and supply chain transparency across the UAE and the wider Middle East.

Staffed by more than 30 analysts and technical specialists, the laboratory operates around the clock and is equipped with advanced technologies. These capabilities enable comprehensive testing for pesticide residues, mycotoxins, drug and antibiotic residues, heavy metals, as well as genetic and molecular analyses for transgenics and biological contaminants.
With the opening of this facility, AmSpec continues to expand its global footprint, offering integrated inspection, testing, and certification solutions that support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across international supply chains, while reinforcing Dubai and the UAE’s position as a regional hub for scientific innovation and trade.
